Tai Chi Chuan

Yang Style Tai Chi Short Form

This form has 24 movements from start to finish.  The form, when performed, should be done as one entire movement, not separate movements.  However, when training, this just isn't possible in the beginning.  So what we have done is the following: 

  • Broken the form down into smaller sections of movements

  • Each section is broken into separate movements

  • Each movement is broken down verbally and step by step.  When needed, the video will:

    •  Show each movement from different angles

    • Show hands and/or feet separately

Take each movement one at a time, practice all that is there until you can perform the movement without the video, then add the next movement.
